CRIME PREVENTION PROJECT OFFICER Temporary Part Time 32 Weeks (Pos No 04/12)

Council is currently seeking applications for the position of Temporary Crime Prevention Project officer. This position is primarily responsible for further development and enhancement of community services within the Lithgow CouncilLocal Government Area, through implementation of Council's Social Plan, Crime
Prevention Plan and development of Access and Equity plans and statements.
The successful applicant must address all selection criteria, Tertiary qualifications in community development, social sciences, crime, or proven extensive project delivery experience relating to community safety and/or community development or place based project work. Experience of high level project management and capacity to manage a number of concurrent projects are essential.

PROJECT ENGINEER - Temporary - Full Time 10 months (Pos No 01/12)

Council is currently seeking applications for the position of Project Engineer. This position, for a 10 month period, is primarily responsible for project managing the design, tender and construction phases of major water and sewer projects.
The successful applicant must address all selection criteria, Tertiary Qualifications in Engineering or related discipline, 3 years experience water or wastewater field, including demonstrated experience in managing consultants, contracts and
infrastructure projects.

Council is currently seeking applications for the position of Water and Wastewater Manager. This position is primarily responsible for managing all aspects of Council's Water and Wastewater Division in accordance with Council Strategic, Management, Corporate and Business Plans within legislative and budgetary requirements.
The successful applicant must address all selection criteria, have Tertiary qualifications at a degree level in Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent experience. Experience in managing and leading a team of staff to achieve desired outcomes is essential.
