Public Exhibitions

Council is aware that community input into the development process is vital when assessing applications. Council endeavours to provide details of larger applications to the wider community to allow for easier community consultation.


Mobile Resource Recovery Mill

Council is in receipt of a Development Application from Weston Matrix Pty Ltd  requesting permission for a proposed Mobile Resource Recovery Mill at Lot 42 DP 751636 - Castlereagh Highway Blackmans Flat.

The application and plans are available for public inspection at Council's Regional Services Division, in the Council Administration Centre, 180 Mort Street, Lithgow, free of charge, during office hours for a period of 14 days from 5 May 2011 until 23 May 2011.

During this period any person may inspect the plans and make a written submission on the proposal quoting Council's file reference, Development Application No.011/11DA.  All submissions received during this period will be taken into consideration prior to Council's determination of the application.

MODIFICATION OF DEVELOPMENT APPLICATION NO. 450/01DA – HYROCK PTY LTD – MINING LEASE EXCELSIOR QUARRY

Council is in receipt of a Modification of Consent from Hyrock Pty Ltd requesting permission to alter the quarry pit limit, for safety purposes at Excelsior Quarry.

The application and plans are available for public inspection at Council's Regional Services Division, in the Council Administration Centre, 180 Mort Street, Lithgow, free of charge, during office hours until 29 March 2011. Alternatively a copy of the application can be found on Council’s website.
 

During this period any person may inspect the plans and make a written submission on the proposal quoting Council's file reference, Development Application No. 450/01DA MOD.  All submissions received during this period will be taken into consideration prior to Council's determination of the application.

Council is in receipt of a Development Application from Martin Morris and Jones Pty Ltd  requesting permission for a proposed refreshment room, being Hungry Jacks Restaurant Development at Lot 61 - 65 DP 36295 - Corner Caroline Avenue/Stewart Street/Great Western Highway Lithgow NSW 2790.

The application and plans are available for public inspection at Council's Regional Services Division, in the Council Administration Centre, 180 Mort Street, Lithgow, free of charge, during office hours for a period of 21 days from 11 March 2011 until 4 April 2011.

During this period any person may inspect the plans and make a written submission on the proposal quoting Council's file reference, Development Application No.008/11DA.  All submissions received during this period will be taken into consideration prior to Council's determination of the application.

Col Drewe Drive South Bowenfels - Hassan Street

Statement of Environmental Effects for Proposed Place of Worship and Boundary Adjustment

This development application from Michael Horsfall is to construct a place of worship with car parking facilities at the end of Hassan Street, west of the World War II gun emplacements. The proposal also includes a boundary adjustment between Lot 51 DP1107410 and Lot 401 DP1086154.
